Eight years of photographing this family, and somehow the boys who once seemed so little are growing into such wonderful young men. It’s one of my favorite parts of this job, getting to watch families grow and being invited back year after year to capture another season of life.
We often think of family photos as something we do when our kids are little, but those years keep moving just as quickly as they get older. The faces change, the hugs look a little different, but these are still the moments you’ll want to remember. Photos have a way of freezing time, even when everything around us keeps changing.
So thankful for families who trust me to tell their story year after year.

This past weekend I flew back to St.Louis to capture Reagan’s senior photos. It was so much fun exploring Forest Park and learning all about how she wants to attend nursing school after graduation and eventually wants to work with pediatric patients. Fun fact…Reagan’s mom and I both started our college careers at Mizzou and were in the same Alpha Phi pledge class. After several twists and turns in both our educations both of us also ended up with degrees from Lindenwood University!

Exploring Fairhope with Emma Grace and Chase was the perfect way to spend the afternoon. It was a joy to see how sweet they are together. They were so relaxed and natural in front of the camera. I can not wait for their wedding in April 2027.

My bright, true-to-color editing style took a little detour into dark and moody for Ethan and Caroline’s proposal. Apparently, the rain had other plans.

Ethan was not about to let a little rain ruin his plan to propose to Caroline, so he went for it. And since they had one extra evening in Fairhope before heading back to Tennessee, we met up again the following night for portraits and were rewarded with the most beautiful weather.

A rainy proposal, a yes, and a second evening of sunshine in Fairhope. I’d say it worked out pretty perfectly!

Rain on your wedding day is supposed to bring good luck, and Jacie and Tanner are going to have plenty of it!

They started the day getting ready at Little Point Clear, where we even caught a break in the rain long enough for some beautiful outdoor photos. From there, we headed to St. Francis at the Point for their ceremony before returning to Little Point Clear. Guests enjoyed dinner in the Chapel and then moved to the main house for a night of celebrating.
Both Little Point Clear and St. Francis made the perfect rain plans feel effortless, and this Fairhope wedding was every bit as beautiful and joyful as it was meant to be.
