We didn't even decide to make this calendar until November -- well into calendar sales season, so time was of the essence.

The girls doing the fund-raiser had already asked a few of their fit friends if they would pose with dogs.
I decided to theme the photos around outdoor boy-and-his-dog vignettes using very local scenery. All of these shots were taken between downtown Coos Bay and Cape Arago. To hurry the photo shoot along, each location is accessible by car with no hiking necessary.

In addition to the models, we had the fund-raiser organizers on location as talent coordinator and puppy wrangler, with the occasional spouse also filling in as a "voice activated light stand."

I scouted locations on Wednesday, shot on Friday and Saturday, and had the calendar off to the printer by Tuesday.

The original goal was to clear $400 from the sales of the calendars. We cleared ten times that by Christmas, something like 7 weeks after the concept-development meeting.

Oh My Goodness! And, BOY was it GOOOOOOD!

Rodeo Steakhouse is doing monthly Brazilian Dinner Events, and this food and experience was wonderful! I am going back in February.... Who wants to come with me?

Real estate photography is relatively new for us. Here's a recent project.

For sale: $549,000. Beautiful 5 bedroom, 2 bath, historic farm house with large barn plus addition outbuildings sitting on 40+ acres right outside of town! Property and home have been kept in great shape along with tons of parking in this beautiful, quiet, country setting! Very motivated seller!
