For me as a photographer, there are moments in time that simply stand still and connect with the energy of my minds eye.
Melodie and I attended my nephew and his brides wedding in Kentucky at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill on Sat. May 30th.
As the wedding after events were winding down I went to get my camera to photograph the big beautiful white draft horse in a pasture next to the wedding tent. I was distracted by the setting sun through the trees of Shaker Village.
First image was what I wanted, then my minds eye started to think it would be so awesome if someone would walk over to that swing and gets in it and swings. And as if God heard my minds eye, this young lady came from no where and did exactly that. It was that moment, I got chills and let my minds eye and skills run with it. I backed up on the hill I was standing on to allow a cedar tree limb dabble a bit of bokeh difussion in lens to subdue sun flare.

The last image is called "Dalia" .

I never got any pictures of the white draft horse! We are going back!
