The club has two main objectives...a place to learn...and a place to share your love of photography with like minded friends. The Cookeville Camera Club (CCC) meets on the second Monday of each month at the Cookeville Art Studio and Gallery, located at 186 S. Meetings are held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. We engage in various activities, including member photo contests, photo essays, guest speakers, wor

kshops, classes, and photoshoots. If you plan to attend a meeting, please contact us a few days before the second Monday of the month. Please note that we do not hold meetings during special member events, such as the summer picnic, the Christmas party in December, and group photo shoots (dates for these events vary). You can reach us through Facebook or our website. While board members strive to keep club information up-to-date on both platforms, there may be occasional oversights due to our busy lives with families, jobs, and other commitments.

The Cookeville Camera Club was recently featured in the Herald-Citizen highlighting our photography exhibition at the Cookeville Art Studio, and we appreciate the coverage.

One small note for anyone who saw the article—the members pictured in the photo (minus the mayor) are the Camera Club board members. We’re proud of the group leading the club and grateful for all the work that goes into making events like this possible.

It’s wonderful to see our photography community getting this kind of recognition. Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Cookeville Camera Club!

To CCClub Members: Our January contest theme is CHRISTMAS. Start uploading your images to the “Member’s Only” section of our club’s website now. Keep in mind you only enter 3 images in your “division” (Novice/Regular/Master) so you must select your registered classification to upload them.

If you don’t have any Christmas images to enter, all members can enter three images into the (Open) Exhibition. Don’t let the deadline pass for either of these uploads. Do it now!

Dear Club Members,

The wintery mix that has made it’s appearance today has me concerned for our safety. Many of the Club Members travel from remote
area’s surrounding Cookeville. Myself and several Club Members actually come from Crossville. There has already been one accident
on I-40 in Monterey this morning. I am putting this email out early enough so you can rest assured I have your safety in mind.

There will be No Club Meeting this evening November 10th. The Club Meeting will be re-scheduled for Monday November 17th at that time
we will have the Club Elections and view the Video Essays. I hope this message reaches everyone of the club members. If you feel like sending a reply
to me personally (Not Replay All) to let me know I reached you that would be okay.

To all Cookeville Camera Club Members. We are at the time of year when nominations for board members will take place. For the first time in a few years, we have several open positions that need to be filled, including the President and Treasurer.

I hope that you will consider running for one of these positions. We want to keep the club alive with engaging content and training. PLEASE consider running, as we would hate for the club to fold after so much has been done in the last 2 years.

Our Story

The Cookeville Camera Club (CCC) meets (almost every) 2nd Monday of each month at the First Presbyterian Church (second floor meeting room), 20 N. Dixie, Cookeville, TN., from 7 to 9 p.m. We also have member photo contests & photo essays, speakers, workshops, classes, and a variety of activities and photoshoots. If you plan to attend a meeting, contact us several days prior to the second Monday of the month. We do not hold meetings on holiday weeks, when we have special member events like the member's picnic (in the summer), the holiday party (in December), and group photo shoots (dates vary). We are an active club with quite a few members and we actively communicate with them via email. You can either contact us on Facebook or on our website: www:cookevillecameraclub.com. While board members try to remember to post things on Facebook and the website, on occasion, someone drops the ball. Many of us have families, jobs, and other activities. We do what we can.
