✨ Unplanned Business Update ✨
I’ve spent years building my photography business around weddings — pouring my heart into documenting some of the most meaningful days of people’s lives. And while I still deeply love weddings and the people I’ve met through them, motherhood has shifted something in me in the gentlest, most unexpected way.
After becoming a mother — and especially after spending Mother’s Day partially isolated while feeling so sick — I had a quiet realization that I can’t stop thinking about.
Right now, my heart is yearning for slower moments. The ones that happen in everyday life.
The sleepy newborn stretches. The messy in-home mornings. The growing families. The creative ideas brought to life just because they deserve to exist.
So with that, I have two updates:
• I’ve officially booked all of the weddings I plan to take on for 2026, and 2027 is nearly full.
• Moving forward, I’ll be opening my calendar more intentionally for shorter lifestyle sessions… motherhood sessions, creatives, couples, families, and storytelling-focused work that feels deeply aligned with this season of my life.
I’m endlessly thankful for every single one of you who has supported my business through the years and trusted me with your memories.
Most of my bookings have always come from word of mouth, and that support has truly meant everything to me. As I step into this new season, I’d love your help spreading the word now more than ever.
This doesn’t mean weddings are disappearing. They’ve shaped so much of my career and will always hold a special place in my heart. But I think for the first time in a long time, I’m allowing myself to follow creativity where it’s naturally pulling me instead of where I think it’s supposed to go.
And honestly… I’m really excited about it. 🤍
