There’s something special about photographing a mom and her daughter. 🤍

Two different seasons of life. Two different personalities. And a relationship that keeps changing as they both grow.

Sometimes the photos we’ll treasure most aren’t just about what we looked like — they’re about who we were to each other in that moment. 📸

And these two made that pretty easy to capture. 🤍

This is your reminder that kids don’t have to be perfectly posed to get beautiful photos. 🤍

Give me the big laughs, the silly faces, the movement and all the personality.

Of course we’ll get the pretty ones too 😉 but some of my favorites are always the ones that just feel like them.

Because one day, that little face is going to look a whole lot different. 🥹📸

Some of my favorite sessions start with, “Okay, I have an idea…” ☕🎄

This couple wanted something a little different for their Christmas photos — Christmas PJs + a coffee shop.

So they grabbed some coffee, played games, laughed a lot, and basically had a little Christmas date while I photographed it. 🤍

We got the cute photos, but my favorites are the ones where they were simply being themselves.

Sometimes the best sessions are the ones that don’t feel like a photoshoot at all. 📸

If you could plan ANY photoshoot… what would we create? 👀📸

Not what you think you’re supposed to book. Not necessarily matching outfits and everyone smiling at the camera.

Something that feels like you.

Roller skates? A laundromat? Your favorite record store? Barefoot in a field? Date night with your person? Something completely weird that you’ve had saved on Pinterest for three years? 😂

I want to create more than pretty pictures — I want to create art with you.

So tell me: if there were no rules, what photoshoot would you want to do? 👇

“But I’m awkward in front of the camera.”

Good. 😂 You don’t have to know what you’re doing—that’s my job.

I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I also want you to move, laugh, talk to each other and actually enjoy your session. Some of my favorite photos happen in the moments between the “okay, everyone look at me and smile” pictures.

You don’t have to be photogenic.
You don’t have to know how to pose.
And your kids definitely don’t have to behave perfectly. 😂

Just show up as yourselves. I’ll take it from there. 🤍📸

I think this is my favorite part of photography — creating something that feels like art. 📸

I love family photos, seniors, couples, milestones and all the moments worth remembering… but I also love when someone comes to me with an idea and we get to create something completely different.

You don’t have to have a reason for a photoshoot.

You don’t have to be celebrating anything.
Sometimes you can just want to create something beautiful, fun, weird, bold, soft, moody — whatever feels like you.

So if you’ve ever had a photoshoot idea in your head and thought, “I wonder if she'd do something like that…”

The answer is probably yes. 😂

MOMS — I have an idea. 👀📸

Why is making friends as a mom SO hard?! 😂

Between kids, work, schedules and life, meeting new people isn't exactly easy.
