In the season of fall minis, which are absolutely wonderful and sometimes all we have is a quick 10 minutes to get updated family photos, (and I applaud anyone and everyone who make family photos a priority!) I am going to encourage something slightly different for a second...

One day we will look back and realize the best photos weren't the ones where everything was perfect.. they were the ones where love, laughter, and life showed up exactly as they are.

I highly encourage you to at least *ONCE* book a family session based around who your family is.

You love sports: lets run around, throw a ball and have some fun.
You love hiking: let's put on our boots and go hiking.
You love baking: let's get in the kitchen and bake a yummy treat.
You love the lake: lets hop on a boat and jump in the water.

You get it! When we stop worrying about "perfect" and start embracing the capture of real life - that's when the real true magic happens! (ps: this mindset can also work in a mini session setting 🖤)
