There’s a moment right after birth that feels almost… sacred.
The world slows down. The room softens. And everything becomes about connection.
Your baby, still attached to you.
Still receiving everything they need.
Still transitioning gently from your body to your arms.
Delayed cord clamping isn’t just a medical choice—it’s a quiet act of honoring that transition. It allows your baby to receive those final, powerful moments of nourishment, oxygen, and connection before the cord is cut. There’s no rush. No urgency. Just time… exactly as it should be.
As a birth photographer, these are the moments I hold onto the most. The stillness. The emotion. The way your hands instinctively find your baby while the cord still pulses between you. It’s raw, real, and deeply beautiful.
And they deserve to be remembered exactly as they happened 🤍
My schedule is still open for 2026 births. If you’re wanting your story told in a way that honors every sacred, fleeting moment… I would be so honored to be there.
