My passion for photography lies in the challenge of capturing the emotions of life's moments. To me, a photograph is the only true way we can stop time and capture not just an image but an experience…a feeling…a memory. My puppy Jet, 7yrs was not enough with you and I'm so proud of the fight you gave it. I hope you know you filled each day with endless and energetic happiness. There was no box you could not conquer, no ball you would not chase. You are loved. You are missed. You were the best parts of my day. My heart is shattered but you will always be with me. So yes I've been MIA the end of 2020, hoping it would just go away. I was eager for 2021, as I imagine many of us were, and I gotta say I started the year strong. A strong case of Covid that is 😔 I'm feeling better now however and hopefully the worst has past and will stay gone.

I decided to start the year off with this photo from fall of 2020. I was having a tough time getting close to birds all day and was totally bummed. As I was about to pack up for the day, this little guy flew up on a branch about 10ft away. He sat there perfectly still looking at me, sang a quick tune as if to say, you got me dude, ok!
