Thank you Sunshine Kids for allowing Greg and I to come photograph the graduating seniors this weekend. Truly for HIS glory!

These kids have fought battles most people will never fully understand and yet they still radiate so much joy, light, and strength!

A reminder to myself and maybe someone else too… before stressing about the bills, the next move, the future, or everything we can’t control — just stop and thank God for the very breath in your lungs.

There is so much beauty in simply being alive.

I met Kendall this weekend through Sunshine Kids, and honestly… she’s one of those people you meet and instantly just feel drawn to. 🤍

Before I even knew her story, I kept thinking how beautiful her smile was and how much light she carried. Then I read everything she’s walked through — osteosarcoma, chemo, surgeries, learning to walk again at such a young age — and it honestly just hit me hard.

I think sometimes God puts people in front of us to remind us what real strength looks like.

Getting to do things like this makes me so thankful for what I do. It’s easy to get caught up in work, content, deadlines, social media… but moments like this remind me there’s so much more behind it all.

Kendall, you are absolutely beautiful, and your story carries so much strength and purpose. 🤍🎓

Makeup has always been my comfort zone.
It’s what I know. It’s what I’ve done for years.

But lately God has been opening doors I never planned for… and I’m simply walking through them one yes at a time.

Last night during worship we sang:

I open up my heart to You
I open up my heart to You now
So do what only You can
Jesus have Your way in me now

Standing there singing those words and capturing women encountering Jesus, something clicked.

Oh… I can do this. 🥹
Not because I have it all figured out.
But because I’m willing and obedient.
Because I trust the One who’s leading.

And I truly feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Chosen isn’t about having it all together.
It’s about opening your heart and letting Jesus have His way!

So grateful I get to worship, create, and walk this out.🥹♥️📸🪽

Welcome to Chosen Photography 🤍

Most people start a new page with a photo of themselves…but I felt so clearly led to start here — with a moment God already had in motion.

This image was created for my sister in Christ and it came together in a way only God could. 😭👑💗

Last year almost took me out. My world was turned upside down in ways I never could have imagined… but God. He carried me through the darkest season of my life and surrounded me with women who became like a river of life when I felt completely empty. These women are my family — warriors of Christ who cover me, pray for me, and protect my heart. I will never stop thanking the Lord for the way He held me through them. 🐘🕊💗

Ephesians 2:10 is a verse my church speaks over us constantly — it’s been echoed by Becca and by the women who have walked with me through this season — and it’s become the anchor of my heart:
“For we are God’s workmanship…” created on purpose, for purpose, even when we don’t fully see it yet. 🤍

I’ve always wanted to do photography. My husband has had all the gear for years. The desire has always been there — but the courage hadn’t caught up until now.

So in 2026, I’m simply going.
Wherever He leads me, I will go.
Whatever He places in front of me, I will say yes.

And this — this page, this moment, this beginning — feels like the first step.
Make new wine out of me Lord.
