There is no such thing as a golden hour senior session on campus. It’s literally not possible.
This is about a 2.5 hour line for the Admin Building columns on campus at 4:30pm in mid-April. This is where every single senior starts their session at to get cap/gown photos in the column hallways.
This typically happens every single day starting right after spring break up until graduation and gets up to 2.5+ hours long in April. This is the reality every single spring so I have very specific times I start my senior sessions at and educate my clients on when they need to arrive for theirs.
While spring definitely has the worst lines, fall is also getting worse as the years go on. The lines for fall are typically only 30 minutes to 1 hour long but you may see 1.5 hours on weekends. Still not near as bad as spring though!
The column hallways are essential to get the iconic cap/gown/stole shots for every senior, but the line is definitely what every A&M senior photog dreads.
Students & photographers, we got this! Only 2 weeks to go until graduation! 🎓
