First, thank you for taking the time to click this link and read my Uncle Jason's story.
Jason Stephens is 49 years old, he is a husband, a father of 3, a grandpa to 3 little ones, a brother, an uncle to many, and a cousin to even more. This man has worked extremely hard his entire life to take care of his family, his home, his vehicles, and anything life has thrown his way. He often had to work long days, nights, and even weekends, but he always did whatever was necessary to provide for his family.
Unfortunately, doctors diagnosed Jason with lung cancer after they discovered a mass in his lung towards the end of August 2023. In mid-October, the doctors discovered the cancer had metastasized to Jason’s brain. On November 13, he underwent a lengthy, but successful brain surgery. The surgeon reported complete removal of the brain tumor, but the lung cancer remains as well as the concern for where else it may have metastasized to. Needless to say, because of this he has been unable to work. His last day of employment was October 19, 2023.
This hardworking, independent man has never asked for help or a hand-out, but the cancer has its grip on him and his family financially, physically, and emotionally. Jason needs your prayers as well as financial assistance during this challenging time. Now, in addition to paying for normal everyday bills and food, he needs financial help to acquire life-saving medications, to cover continuous copays, for gas to get to and from doctor, chemo, and radiation treatment appointments, as well as to make repairs to the vehicle that is transporting Jason to these appointments. Please know, Jason is a fighter, and he is fighting this with all the fight he has!
I know times are hard for everyone right now, but I am asking on his behalf that you please help Jason and his family by donating something today. Whether it is $1, $100, anything in between, or more it will be immensely helpful and will most certainly be a blessing during this painful time of need. Not only will it help to ease the financial burdens this sickness brought with it, but it will also serve to lessen Jason's stress level, thereby enabling him to focus on his battle with cancer. If you are unable to donate, that is completely understandable but sharing this post and spreading the word is just as helpful and is most appreciated.
Thank you all.
