I won't be at the art festivals downtown this weekend but you can find me in Huntsville TX at Kim’s home and garden and then at Houston Botanic Garden on Sunday for the Monarchs and Marigolds festival.

One thing asked of me in my many years of selling art. “How can you part with your paintings?”

The answer in most cases is easy, I'm not attached to the painting. It's the process of painting so when it's done, I have no more connection.

However, when the frame holds so much meaning and memory, I find myself holding on to the painting. This one will go on my wall for now.

It's a big one my fiends. See where this ends up.
