Making a positive sandwich… 🥪
First, I survived my first three media days! Full send!!!! And lots of people have shared kind words and even bought photos and gear.
Next, I had my first photography heart break. It’s became more than a hobby to me and I’m very passionate about it. Now that it’s a business, I take it as my work and second income to me and my husband, as we are just starting out.😵💫 People are usually so kind and supportive of my business.
I do photos at events and games, after my 9-5, free of charge! I started media day this year and on-site was TWO AND A HALF HOURS and then on top of that, it was 2 weeks of perfecting crop, color, lighting, masking, photoshop… you get the point.
Somehow…some way… instead of asking me for a discount or a free photo, I had someone find out how to get past screenshot protection AND my watermark😭 which obviously distorted the photo and makes me look bad.
Please don’t do this. If you don’t like the photo, I know plenty of photographers with different styles. If you don’t like the price, I’m very understanding and accommodating.
Finally, I’m pleased with how these have been turning out. I also take constructive criticism, always. I’m learning lots through this journey and already see progress in my skills!
