A first birthday, but make it a whole vibe.
Cake → immediate sink bath → family dance party.
10/10 itinerary. No notes.

Swipe to the end for proof we did, in fact, take some birthday pictures. 🎂

Stories aren’t told through perfect poses.
They’re told through interruptions, tiny hands, toddler chaos, feeding the baby while someone climbs on your back, and the way everyone slowly finds their place in the middle of a new season.

This is the kind of newborn session I’ll always come back to. Not overly directed. Just your family as you are — warm, connected, messy, tender, alive.

I’m a little less interested in perfect locations these days—
and a lot more interested in real ones.

The ice cream stand you always stop at.
The trail you’ve walked a hundred times.
The places that already feel like part of your story.

Because when you’re somewhere familiar,
you stop performing…
and start living.

You move differently.
You settle in faster.
You don’t have to try to feel anything—it’s already there.

That’s why I love sessions like this.

Not because they’re perfectly styled,
but because they’re already meaningful.

Because years from now, it won’t just look beautiful—
it will feel familiar.

(…and hey, you may need some stain remover after this kind of session, but I promise it’s worth it.)

Some stories begin long before they’re seen—
in the waiting, in the becoming, in the quiet knowing.

Your newborn session should hold all of it.

Not just how it looked…
but how it felt to be here.

The softness, the laughter, the chaos, the love woven into ordinary moments—this is the story I’m capturing for you.

In-home sessions are my speciality. Summer and fall due dates are now open (and already filling).
