Anyone can buy a nice camera. Not everyone can make a nervous couple relax under that famous rotunda with strangers walking by. After 12 years behind the lens, I’ve learned that the real magic at SF City Hall comes from trust, not equipment. When you feel at ease, the candid, romantic moments show up on their own, and those are the photos you’ll treasure forever.

Mom of three, workout girlie, forever trying something new… and still can’t wait to capture all the feels during your wedding day.

By day I’m running up the Grand Staircase, chasing direct sun and telling you to “look at each other like nobody’s watching.” By night (and weekends, and every spare second in between) I’m mommy-ing, trying to keep up with my kids, sweating through a workout I definitely didn’t want to do, and saying yes to things that scare me a little.

And honestly? That’s exactly why I love what I do. After twelve years behind the camera, I know the best moments aren’t the posed ones. They’re the real, messy, laughing-so-hard-you-snort ones. The same ones I live for at home.

Your favorite vendors may have limited availability—especially during popular wedding months and on Fridays.

Start by checking your vendors’ availability, then keep those dates in mind when your City Hall appointment window opens. This can help you avoid securing your ceremony date only to find out the photographer or vendor you had your heart set on is already booked.
