❤What to wear - Earthy, Neutral Tones, Nothing busy or with a pattern. Babies can be naked, plain diaper, or also neutral tones.

The way we share our children on social media has changed over the years. More and more parents are choosing to keep their kids off social media or at least only post faceless images.

As a photographer I totally support this. Do I love to share sweet little baby faces on my page? Of course! But only with parent permission. I do also share my own kids, but admittedly a lot less than I used to. I think there is a delicate balance that each family has every right to choose for themselves.

With that being said. I KNOW what it's like to want to share the JOY in parenting with your family and friends. The sweetest moments, the little details. There is undeniably a pull to want to share in what feels like a safer way that honors your families preference.

I LOVE the little details and I love getting creative so that you can share but also have beautiful images of your kiddo for your own private collection.

One thing I love about my sessions is that you get all your images. No picking and choosing your favorites in your gallery. You pay for my time, you get your images. So there is room for lots of photos WITH and WITHOUT faces so you can share your joy.

Remember this?

Your brand-new baby tucked against your chest. Nursing. Skin to skin. His tiny hand resting on you, holding you close.

You breathe in that intoxicating new baby smell and somehow your heart grows even bigger with every breath.

I would give anything to go back and hold each of my babies just one more time like this.

These days pass so quickly. Babies grow, seasons change, and before we know it these moments only live in our memories… and in the photographs we saved. 🤍
