Our shooting style is centered around creatively capturing the candid moments of your day, keeping things feeling natural and genuine. Most importantly, we’ll help you feel at ease in front of the camera. We create an environment where you can be 100% yourselves – that’s where the magic is! And, it’s one of the reasons why it is so important to pick a photographer that you really click with. When preferred, we’ll gladly make suggestions that fit your personality, but no awkward posing here. We know you want great photos too, so we’ll happily share where the best light will be ;) but then it’s all you! And when it comes to family photos and other portraits, we’ll make sure everyone looks good and the photo is well balanced. The rest of the day, we are there to catch things as they unfold, so that you can enjoy everything in the moment AND every time you look back at your Collection. A big part of our approach is also preparation – we’ll work with you to identify what is most important to you beforehand, and focus on getting the coverage you want. That’s what really helps us tell YOUR love story – knowing whatever is most important to you! Let’s talk about winter weddings for a second, because we don’t think they get nearly enough credit.

And with what was *hopefully* the last snowfall of the season last week, we think it’s the perfect time to jump back into how much we adore off-season celebrations 😍

We wrote a whole blog post on them, the good, the bad and the ugly.

Here’s a little recap of why we love them:

- The coziness and atmosphere is unmatched! The candles, the fires, the intimate feel of all your favorite people gathered close indoors. It’s truly something special.

- The decor possibilities are downright dreamy!! Deep, rich colors, like burgundy, emerald, navy, and plum that would feel heavy in summer feel absolutely perfect against a winter backdrop. Lush greenery, berries, pinecones, candles everywhere, velvet textures, metallic accents, twinkly lights… the options are endless and they all have a warmth and richness that photographs beautifully!

- The peak season stress just melts away. If you’ve been stressing about your locking down your dream venue or your first-choice vendors because everything books up over a year ahead of time, a winter date might open up options you didn’t realize you had!

Venue Spotlight — Mayfair Farm

Mayfair Farm in Harrisville, NH is a perfect blend of rustic and modern, from their hilltop ceremony spot, rolling fields and flowers, to their big, bright barn, there are so many beautiful spots for photos.

Mayfair Farm is one of those venues where we don’t have to hunt for good spots—they’re kind of just everywhere.

It’s the kind of place where we can wander for 10–15 minutes and come back with a full set of solid portraits without pulling you away from your own wedding for half the night. And when sunset hits, it just… works.

We’re biased, but it might just be our favorite NH wedding venue for relaxed and rustic couples 🌿

Let’s talk about First Looks on your wedding day. What are they? Should you do one? What are the advantages of seeing one another before the ceremony?

There’s something so special about sharing a private moment together before the ceremony. A First Look can calm nerves, give you extra time for photos, and let you truly soak in the moment without a crowd.

But it’s not for everyone. Some couples love the tradition of seeing each other for the first time at the aisle.

At the end of the day, it’s all about what feels right for you.
