Sometimes we capture the first smile. Sometimes it’s the milk-drunk face. Sometimes it’s just the stillness of a baby sleeping on your chest.

Whatever it is…this stage doesn’t last. And I promise that’s not a guilt trip…it’s just the truth.

One day you’ll realize their face has changed and you won’t even remember when it happened. These photos are a way to hold onto that before it happens.

Years of hard work, late nights, big dreams, and countless memories all led to this moment.

It was such a joy celebrating Allison as she marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. From her red stole to the cap, gown, cords, and diploma that represent years of dedication, every detail told part of her story.

One of my favorite things about graduation sessions is capturing both the excitement of what’s next and the pride of everything it took to get here.

I know how full your days already are.

You might be working. Managing the house. Parenting other kids. Answering emails. Reheating your coffee three times before actually drinking it.

And, oh yeah...growing a whole human.

So the idea of booking a maternity session might feel like too much. One more thing to plan. One more thing to show up for. And thats totally fair.

But I promise, this doesn’t have to be hard. You don’t have to figure out poses or know what to wear or pretend to feel amazing. All you have to do is show up and let me guide you through it.

Because this version of you…stretched thin, carrying it all, making it work somehow, deserves a bit of space to be seen and celebrated too.

A photograph is the pause button of life.

Babies don’t keep; you blink and they’re grown with a family of their own.

So what is the best way to remember their tiny features, toothless grin, and the way they’d always reach for you? Having family photos done every year ensures you’re capturing those details and moments you never want to forget; it pauses life as it is right now forever.

I know that the idea of family photos can be stressful, but I’m here to make it as relaxed as possible. As soon as you book, you’ll receive my Welcome Guide that covers What to Expect, What to Wear, and some tried-and-true tips for sessions with littles. And know, I don’t expect you to stand and smile at the camera the entire time; I always start sessions with a smiling at the camera picture before moving on to more interactive prompts that allow your kiddies to have fun and be themselves.

The magic in family photos rarely comes from everyone standing perfectly still and smiling at the camera.

It happens when parents stop worrying about whether the kids are cooperating, whether everyone’s hair is perfect, or whether the session is going exactly as planned and simply join their children in the moment.

I can guide, prompt, and create opportunities for connection, but I can’t manufacture genuine joy. The most meaningful images happen when you’re willing to let go of expectations, get a little silly, chase your kids, cuddle them close, and embrace whatever unfolds.

Your children don’t need a perfect version of you. They want you. The parent who laughs at their jokes, scoops them up for a hug, runs through the grass, and gets completely caught up in the fun.

When you show up that way, the photos stop feeling posed and start feeling like memories. And those are the images you’ll treasure most years from now. 🤍
