"Okay, hear me out… there are some BEAUTIFUL spots around the parking lot of Best Buy, JC Penny's. If you’d trust me with it, I think it would be very stunning, elegant," is what I said to Jamaya Raqueal when we were talking about what location we could do for her maternity shoot.

I'm grateful her response was," I trust you 1000%" because I loved making these images.

When the Fuentes family reached out to do a family Christmas shoot with a Day of the Dead theme, I said BET.

It was the first time I've ever had a family show up to a shoot with a sound speaker. YES to this. Let's have the right vibe.

They spent hours preparing their makeup, paint, outfits. I don't think I've had a family more excited to enjoy one another in front of the camera before them.

My first introduction to this family was through Yolanda Fuentes. I ended up having dinner with her, getting to know her and then meeting her son, Dr. Fred Fuentes through a work related event.

The more time I spend with them, the more I see them encourage their kids in a way that they don't lack for self confidence. They're also incredibly warm, spunky, and they care deeply for the people around them...also, that family can cook. WOW.....
