Ashley & Topher finally tied the knot last Saturday at the Columbus Zoo’s African Event Center!! They were our first wedding of 2020 and it felt so good to be back to doing what we love. It seemed everyone from their bridal party, family, and guests were all ready to celebrate!

One of our favorite parts to document of a wedding is actually the getting ready portion because we LOVE being a part of the camaraderie 😉

Between pouring drinks, sharing stories, and feeling giddy about what's to come, it's always so clear to us that the bonds built throughout these wedding parties are unbreakable. Capturing these one-of-a-kind friendships is one of the best ways for us to show just how loved these newlyweds truly are by all of those around them 💗

When everything seems to be running smoothly on your wedding day, the last thing you want is for it to rain - but the weather should never stop you or interfere with your plans! ☔️

If it happens to rain on your big day, there are a few options to consider:

💡 Moving photos inside of the venue or to another location
🌂 Braving the rain with umbrellas and rain boots
☀️ Waiting out the weather and taking breathtaking photos outside once the rain clears

As your wedding photographers, we carefully watch the forecast for you so that we can make the best decisions and plans moving forward for you.

Not every bride feels strongly about doing a first look, and that's okay! That's why we have alternative options if you don't want to go down that route. Those photos can be:

1️⃣ The "no look," where you and your future spouse stand in very close proximity to each other, without actually seeing one another, to chat, exchange letters, pray, etc.

2️⃣ The "dad look," where you and your father (or brother, father-in-law, cousin, etc.) see each other

3️⃣ The "bridesmaid look," where you get your hair and makeup done with your bridal party but put your dress on in another room and then show them

Whatever your thoughts may be around this, we have choices that are guaranteed to work for you ❤️
