Had to share a little sample of the photoshoot I did with my trainer and her boyfriend this week. It was my first time working in a studio by myself with lighting equipment and I was super nervous. But they were seriously the best clients I could ask for! So patient and lots of fun to work with. I can't wait to show you guys the rest of the shoot! Probably the best shots I've ever gotten of the butterflies at the Franklin Park Conservatory. I knew it was going to be a good day for pictures once I got one to climb into my hand and two more soon followed. They even let me get close enough with my poor man's macro lens (extension tubes on my 50mm).

I'm learning some new techniques in photoshop and how to create black and white photos from color. The most important thing I've learned so far is to not desaturate the images! I've been doing my conversions wrong for years!
