I’m pressing pause on my senior session feed for a second (don’t worry, I’ve still got a mountain of those to share!). I just had to pivot and spotlight the Seiler family.

Getting to photograph them at their home on Lake Oconee was such a highlight. We spent the session down at the beach in their backyard and got to break in their amazing new boat dock with a photo session—which, fun fact, they had just finished installing the day before!

There is something so real about getting the whole crew together. It’s not just about the group shots; it’s about capturing the genuine, unfiltered moments that happen when everyone is just hanging out. Watching them interact, laugh, and just be together reminded me why I love this part of my job. These photos are the kind that end up being passed down and cherished forever.

Huge thanks to the Seiler family for having me out to the lake to document your crew. Extended family sessions are easily one of my favorite things to shoot.

Another amazing collaboration with 402 Content Marketing for the newest edition of Columbus Champions! This issue highlights the incredible Angie Ramaekers, whose heart for service is unmatched.

In her role as the Director of Volunteer and Guest Services at Columbus Community Hospital, Angie leads a dedicated army of 300 volunteers. It was a privilege to photograph her and learn more about the massive impact she has on our town—she is such a light in our community.

Sometimes, a senior session is about more than just the photos—it’s about documenting a young man on the brink of his next big chapter. Meeting Drew was a true highlight; he is easily one of the most polite and grounded seniors I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

When he told me he wanted to include his dog Blue, his truck, the American flag, and his Jesus T-shirt, I was already amazed by this young man and I knew we were going to create something truly authentic. It’s rare to meet a senior with such a clear sense of self and such big dreams for the future. The weather was threatening to turn all afternoon, but we managed to capture every single vision he had just before the storm rolled through.

Drew, the world is lucky to have your drive and your heart. I’m so glad we could capture these “pearl moments” for you!

From the soft fuzz on their shoulders to the gentle swirl of their hair, and those adorable little toes that curl when you adjust the wrap….

These images aren’t just beautiful; they’re emotional anchors for parents, evoking feelings of warmth and nostalgia when they look back. The ones parents return to when they want to remember what “brand new” really looked like.

In photography, it’s the quiet moments that truly matter. 🤍

Celebrating Mr. Owen and his big one-year milestone! This tractor-loving little cowboy stole the show with his adorable smile and those captivating eyes—oh my!!

Milestone sessions are truly some of my favorites! These little ones may still be itty bitty, but they’re now ready to show off their big personalities! Capturing these moments is such a joy.
