What a season! What a team!
Yesterday, my Brownstown Braves left everything they had on the field in the state championship. A tough 7-0 loss, and even a controversial touchdown called incomplete in the 4th, but none of that takes away from the heart these boys played with.
They put together an unbelievable run - 14 straight wins and a nearly perfect season. They fought, they battled, and they did our community proud every single week.
I couldn’t be prouder of these kids. Getting the honor of photographing their journey this year has meant more than I can put into words. I’ve always dreamed of shooting football, and being on the sidelines capturing these moments for them - the grit, the joy, the heartbreak, the pride - has been something so special.
Hold your heads high, Braves. You made history, and you made us proud.
