Here we go again...

I captured this footage around Mill Race Park and the Robert N. Stewart Bridge yesterday. Now, more storms are moving through Columbus, and the rivers will likely rise even higher.

Hopefully, the rain ends soon.

That’s a wrap on the preseason for the Bulldogs! 🏈

The Dogs finished up their final tune-up last night with a scrimmage against New Palestine. Now it’s time for the real thing.

Week 1 is next Friday night on the road at Whiteland.

We already have Rule of Thirds grid overlays. Why not add Golden Ratio / Golden Spiral composition guides as a selectable display option?

No new hardware. Just another tool in the photographer’s toolbox.

Just a simple idea traditional and drone photographers would use tomorrow!

Blue & White Night didn’t quite end the way we planned.

American Elevation was at The Max tonight capturing the kickoff to the 2026 Columbus North football season. Despite only a 6% chance of rain, Mother Nature had other plans. The smallest thunderstorm and some lightning brought the night to an early end at halftime.

After everyone cleared out, I sent the drone back up and caught these views of an empty Max under the storm clouds.

Not exactly the ending we expected, but we got our first look at the 2026 Bulldogs and now we’re ready for football season.

And I have to add one proud personal moment from tonight. My stepson Mason was named one of the team captains for the 2026 season. Proud of you, Mason. Enjoy every minute of your senior season.

Blue & White Night may have ended early, but the 2026 season is just getting started. 🏈

Bulldog football is almost back.

I’m looking forward to capturing the sights, the atmosphere, and the moments that make Friday nights at Max Andress Field special.

Over the past ten weeks, things have been a little quieter here at American Elevation.

I had the privilege of attending the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity. Experiences like this reinforce something I’ve always believed: when we continue learning and growing, we elevate the way we serve others.

A sincere thank you to my wife, my family and everyone who supported both me and American Elevation while I was away.

Now it’s time to get back in the air.
