Haven’t posted in a while, for that matter, I haven’t picked my camera up in a while. Figured our vacation to Ireland last week was just a good as time as any to pick it back up. We drove from Dublin all the way around the country counterclockwise for 8 days. Ireland has soooo much to offer. For a country the size of Indiana (roughly) you get a change in landscape that would require one to drive from North Carolina to Oregon to replicate here. It was an incredible adventure. Happy to be back shifting with my right hand and driving on the left side of the car again though.

I typically spend more time studying planning my compositions. This time the research took less time than the photo. This was one set up. A THREE HOUR long set up. Only equipped with a 20mm I had to wait for the Milky Way to reach the frame. The time gave me a chance to meet a couple other Milky Way chasers out taking advantage of a perfect night at Chimney Top Rock in the Red River Gorge. Great evening! I love this State!
