I’m a little bit unwell. How is Maisie already 1?! 😭

She is the sweetest happiest little girl ever. This has been one of the most fun and happiest years of Jack and I’s life. She brings us so much joy!

Maisie loves to gab (mostly about dogs). Her new phrase this week has been “Hi dog” (still doesn’t say mama 🙄). You can find her dancing to any tune, especially to “If You’re Happy and You Know It”. She loves waving to people and smiling back at them. She is so observant and copies random things we do while we didn’t even know she was watching. Her favorite book is “10 Little Ladybugs” and loves trying to count (she mostly just points to them) the ladybugs with mom.

We love you dearly, Maisie! ☀️

Can you tell someone is teething?

Maisie is 11 months! Fighting off a fever isn’t the ideal situation for taking photos, thankfully this girl loves strawberries (she ate at least 6 in the process of taking these photos).

Maisie is on the move! She loves crawling with the dogs or following mom around the house. She’s a chatty girl and talks all the time. She’s expanding her vocabulary from “dada” to “dog”, “woof”, “more”, “down”, “up” and finally just this last week, “mama” (can you tell where her priorities are at? 🙄) She still loves dancing and music. Almost any tune will get her wiggling and grooving 💃

We love this little girly dearly and can’t believe she’s almost a year 😭

Can you tell I’ve been binging Bridgerton? 🙈 After planning for weeks for a snowy shoot, the flu and the snow deciding to melt last minute, we pivoted to a whole different location and style and I’m honestly super not mad about it! After binging Bridgerton the last few weeks, I felt so inspired shooting at Jeffery Mansion (I mean it’s so beautiful, how could you not?!). I’ll forever be in love with the magic we created - can’t wait for your wedding, Amanda & Dakota!

10 months with Maisie girl!

She had become sooo animated and interactive this month. She loves talking, laughing, clapping, peek-a-boo, dancing, rocking, and has started crawling (she’s often content wherever she is). She’s feeding herself and loves snack time. She loves dance parties with mom in the kitchen (specifically loves Taylor Swift but will really dance to just about anything). Everything she does makes us laugh and we love every second with her! 💕

One of my favorite things about Natalie & Miguel is their spirit of adventure - whether that’s taking engagement photos in the most crowded liquor store or running through a blizzard with only sandals. So thankful they braved the cold for their dreamy winter wedding!

Maisie is 9 months old! (I’m late to the game again…the holidays were busy 🤷‍♀️)

Maisie has figured out how to scoot backwards, but is not quite crawling yet. She still LOVES music and has started dancing, especially to “Banana Pancakes”. Her favorite toys are her maracas and piano. She will give us concerts by “singing”, shaking her maracas and playing the piano with her toes (yes, all at the same time). She loves chatting and babbling, especially saying “MMMHHH” after every bite of oatmeal. She is literally the cutest thing ever and brings us so much joy!

I’ve been a little MIA on here and I’m not mad about it 🙈 I was truly feeling the effects of doom scrolling and it’s been such a blissful break up from social media the last few months. I’m still not fully back and honestly hope to never fully be back on social media. The benefits of not having it on my phone have been incredible. I’ve been way more present with Maisie, reading more books, buying less things I don’t need, feeling less brain mushy, and not suffering from comparison. BUT I am excited to share photos from the last few months from the beautiful weddings I’ve been honored to be apart of so I’ll pop on from time to time ✨

For now, enjoy the sweet moments from Veronica & Gaige’s wedding 🫶

Better late than never… Maisie is 8 (more like 8.5) months old! She has 2 teeth and has been working on two more. She’s very chatty and LOVES waving at everyone and everything. Her favorite food is still oatmeal, but blueberries come in at close second. She loves “playing” the piano and giving concerts, especially singing along when mom plays the piano. She brings so much joy to our lives!
