I miss my time in Georgia. The golden hour was just unbeatable, no matter where I was! I also missed doing photos at a full time capacity, I met so many amazing people along the way.

Photos became a passion of mine when I picked up the camera in yearbook class in HS, I really wanted to make it full time... but when it felt like a "job", I got scared I'd stop taking pics to take breaks... when I really didn't want to.

Because of that, I am able to limit certain bookings and focus 110% on my clients and really BE there. This is just my preference. I can step back and learn more on my own and take the skills to my client. Trust me, I'm always learning in this industry!

👋 Picking a location is hard. I totally get it. If it makes you feel any better, most photographers already know the location that will fit your session. I am one of them!

However, in rare cases, the client comes to me with the most amazing location I never heard of it, and it's become a stable and go-to for other sessions... we thank you for your service 😜

It's 2025, and this rebrand that was a year ago is finally done! Simply Jessi is now Jess Denehan Photography!

Simply Jessi was made in college, where my passion fueled me to create a space where I can create moments with people. The name came to mind with a snap of a finger, and it stuck around all these years - 6 years to be exact. As I grew, the name 'simply' (no pun intended) didn't grow with me as much as I'd like, and it felt like it was time for a change. I wanted it to be simple and straightforward. SO - Jess Denehan Photography it is!

After a few months, my website is officially live and all updates and bookings to my portfolio will live there! I am so excited and invite you to check it out! Bookings are not live yet but will be soon, so stay tuned!
