A few weeks ago I launched The Amelia Project, a photography initiative offering free sessions to families with a child facing a life‑threatening condition. It has already brought me so much joy and purpose.
After my daughter Amelia’s diagnosis of Friedreich’s ataxia, it became even more clear how precious photographs are. They hold fragments of time, comfort and memory when you need them most. Being able to gift that to other families facing an uncertain future means the world to me.
So far I’ve completed five sessions, and I’ve partnered with several wonderful photographers in the area to bring this gift to as many people as possible. I will be accepting two more sessions for The Amelia Project in June and July.
I have also included a link under the Amelia's Project tab if you'd like to help sponsor additional sessions. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who have asked to donate!
If you know a family who could benefit from this, whether it’s your family or someone else’s, please click the link below to nominate them. If you are local to Columbus, please share this post so we can reach more families who may be interested.
xoxo
