As the golden sun dipped below the rugged cliffs of the Grand Canyon, a symphony of hues unfolded across the vast expanse. The canyon’s towering walls blushed with shades of orange and pink, as if embracing the departing day with a tender warmth. Wisps of clouds danced in the sky, casting gentle shadows on the ancient rocks that stood witness to millennia of history.

Sunsets are the most amazing hour of the day. The sun setting down the horizon, with the orange blue and purple glow in the sky. A magical glow getting casted on the rocks at the sea shore and the waves dashing on them. This photo shows that no matter how difficult the life is, there is always a glimmer of hope like the glow on rocks and in the end there is always a new day with full of possibilities.

I liked this photo a lot. It captures the essence of the desert - its beauty and its brutality. The sunrise represents hope and new beginnings, while the dead tree symbolizes the harsh realities of life. Together, they create a powerful image that evokes both awe and contemplation.

Sunset is a very common phenomenon which happens everyday. But it is never the same, everyday it is different but still very calming and soothing. This photograph is from the beautiful beach near Egg Harbor in Wisconsin a town with populations a little over 200. A very beautiful town, great people and wonderful scenery.

As we are now closing in to the end of the year, next few weeks for me will be to look back and analyze all the good’s and bad’s of 2018 and see how can I do better in the following year. From 13 years of my corporate experience I have learnt that retrospect should be an important part of our life. It make us a better person, and also helps us to plan out next steps. Much like the Lighthouse, retrospective provide the light to brighten our path leading to a bright future.
This photograph was taken during my last year’s trip to lower Michigan peninsula, the objective of which was to capture beautiful lighthouse on the cost and learn their history.

One of the most iconic building in Columbus, Indiana. This is Cummins Corporate office building, a modernistic office building designed by Kevin Roche and was constructed in 1983. It is going under renovation currently for the celebration of 100 years of Cummins INC.

Very recently I read an article about the morning routine of His holiness Dalal Lama and what we can learn from it. The quote I loved from the article is : “Every day as you wake up, think that I am fortunate to be alive. I have a precious human life, and I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand myself out to others; to achieve enlightenment for all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can.”

Another beautiful view from heavenly vista cabin in great smoky mountains. This year summer I rented this cabin for a family and friends get together. The place is wonderful, quite spectacular view of the valley and mountains. Also the hospitality was splendid. I have been to Smoky mountains so many times but everytime it’s more refreshing than the previous visit. I am again planning a fall season visit next year now. .

The effect in the photo is not a result of post processing but because of a funny incident. I was in SFO on a very hot and humid day. Before going on the Golden Gate Bridge I went in the gift store which is next to it. As soon as I came out because of the temperature difference my entire lease got all fogged and I photographed the bridge using the fogged lens, result is this photo.
