The past few years I have been really working on a more documentary approach to my weddings but really trying to showcase lighting techniques. Lighting is such a skill you don’t see with so many “natural light” styles. But man these flashes have become so light weight and powerful I love it.

As a wedding photographer, I always tell people it’s about looking for light and moments. It’s about the moments that are happening now in the moments that could be happening. So on the wedding day of Nicole and Broc I saw these doors in and the natural light coming through and I knew this was going to be a great photo. So today my son was with me and I walked him through what was going to happen. All eyes will be on the bride and the doors will frame them right in the center. I told him I just need one photo from you today. This one will be perfect. So this is what came off his camera. Well done! What do you think….
