I had the privilege of taking pictures for a young lady’s wedding that I’ve know for over 20 years. I took Emma along to help out. She wanted to take pictures of the kids and to just help out wherever needed! She handled this like a pro and she took some wonderful pictures!! She caught this little ladies joyful personality!! It's so hard watching our kids grow up and away from us!! I think it's built into moms to try and keep them close so we can keep them safe and provide for their needs. For them, they are trying to spread their wings and find their independence. To be their own person. I've struggled trying to keep her hand in mine as she's pulled away to go her own way. So now as she enters Middle School I need to let her spread her wings just a little more and trust that we've prepared her for this next stage in her life. Her faith in God will guide her. Pray for us that we will see her needs at this age when she tends to keep a little more to herself.
