Let’s talk getting ready spaces! I know this task is probably at the bottom of your list, but where you get ready on the morning of your wedding matters more than you might think! If you’ve ever looked at or pinned those magical getting ready photos, you need a space with character and natural light! And photos aside, having a cozy space where you can spread out and feel comfortable in can totally affect the vibe of the morning.

If you're thinking about eloping or planning a more intimate wedding, I also included some really unique spaces that you could rent out for the weekend to host your celebration!

Jonah and Natalie had the sweetest day! I just loved getting to know them throughout their engagement, and then shooting their intimate wedding. I left feeling like family! I think you can see through these photos just how sweet these two are AND how happy they were to finally be married after 4 (!!!) years of long distance.

Buchwalter Greenhouse was so fun to shoot at too - literally nothing better than natural light and plants amiright?! Even though they couldn’t dance because of covid, their reception was so special. Jonah and Natalie went from table to table and served all their guests dessert, everyone cried at the speeches, and all the men went outside to smoke ci**rs. Don’t sleep on these intimate weddings, ya’ll!

Dana and Mike are two of my absolute favorite humans that I’ve met through this job!! I met them through their neighbors - Jodi and Sam - whose wedding I shot a few years ago! Just casually becoming the neighborhood photographer, nbd.

✨ IT’S BRAND LAUNCH DAY!! ✨

This rebrand and new website has been almost a year in the making and I’m SO excited to finally share it with you today! I’ve been making my own websites forever, so I feel like new woman with a website and brand that actually feels like me! As I was putting finishes touches on it last night, I got overwhelmed by how much I love this job and how thankful I am to have met so many amazing people! There is so much beauty and goodness in every single story, and I hope you can see that through my images.

The biggest thank you goes to for being so patient and encouraging with me throughout this entire process! And for creating a brand that feels like me and that I absolutely love! She’s the best!!

I came up with “The Photography of Olivia G” when I started my business at 16. This rebrand is a huge change and I’m just a little sad to say goodbye to that name I created almost 10 years ago. But we’re on to bigger and better things, fam!! ✌🏼
