Iā€™ve gotten quite a few questions recently due to my destash sale, asking about whether Iā€™m still doing photographyā€¦ and the answer is YES!šŸ¤

Iā€™ve just slowed down, intentionally.

This past year, I made the decision to take a step back and focus on my mental health, my family, and simply being present. After years of constantly squeezing people in, pushing myself to my limit, and essentially working two full-time jobs, I realized something had to change.

I didnā€™t want photography to become something I was constantly trying to keep up with. I wanted to actually enjoy it again.

So Iā€™ve shifted my focus toward the sessions I genuinely love creating. That doesnā€™t mean I donā€™t enjoy other types of sessions, I absolutely do! But after nearly 9 years of doing this, Iā€™ve learned that there are certain sessions that light me up more than others, and I want to make more room for those.

After 9 years of collecting props, backdrops, outfits, and all the random things that come with photography, my house was starting to feel like a studioā€¦ and I donā€™t even have a studio! šŸ˜‚

So Iā€™ve been letting go of a lot of things that no longer fit where Iā€™m headed.

And honestly? It feels really good.

Iā€™m still here. Iā€™m still taking photos. Iā€™m still creating. Iā€™m just doing it more intentionally, at a slower pace, and in a way that fits my life.
