FIRST - if you have a wedding booked with me, a prepaid session, a valid gift certificate, or I’ve already reached out to you about getting your 2027 session on my books… PLEASE DON’T FREAK OUT. 🤎
Your session is still happening. Your plans are still safe. I am honoring every commitment I’ve already made.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way…

About a month ago, I shared that I was planning for 2027 to be the closing chapter of Kennedy Rae Photography.
After a lot of thought, I’ve realized that I’m ready to close this chapter a little sooner than I originally planned.
Kennedy Rae Photography will officially close its books for good on November 1st, 2026.

I know this is sooner than I originally announced, but after sitting with the decision, I know it’s the right one for me and for my family.

This does not mean I’m cancelling anything that has already been booked or paid for.
🤎 Already-booked weddings are happening.
🤎 Prepaid sessions are happening.
🤎 Valid gift certificates will still be honored.
🤎 Sessions that needed to be rescheduled will still happen.
🤎 The 2027 clients I have already personally reached out to about getting on my calendar are still being booked.
Everything I have already committed to will be honored.

But after November 1st, I will no longer be accepting new bookings.
Which means if you've been thinking about booking with me for 2027…
NOW is your last chance. 🤎 I am only accepting a FEW sessions.
If you've been wanting a maternity session, couples session, senior session, or simply one last opportunity to get in front of my camera, you need to book before November 1st.

✨sessions will need take place May-October 2027, and once my books close, there will be no more new 2027 bookings.

I know I originally said I would continue taking a limited number of sessions through 2027, but I've realized that I'm ready to step away sooner rather than later. Sometimes you make a plan, live with it for a while, and realize that your heart is asking for something different.

Nine years of Kennedy Rae Photography has been such an incredible chapter of my life. I am endlessly grateful for every person who has trusted me with their memories - the pregnancies, babies, families, seniors, couples, milestones, and all of the little moments in between.
I don't take any of it for granted.

So this is not goodbye to the people who are already on my calendar. I still have beautiful things to look forward to with you. 🤎
But it is goodbye to taking on anything new.

November 1st, 2026 - my books officially close.

✨ MODEL CALLS - VICTORIAN ROMANCE ✨

I have a very specific creative vision in my head, and I need to bring it to life before I potentially say goodbye to this dress. 🤎

I’m looking for TWO models for two styled shoots:

📖 ONE EXPECTING MAMA
📖 ONE COUPLE

Think old books, Victorian romance, notebook pages, soft intimacy, dreamy and a little haunting - basically the kind of session that looks like it belongs inside an old love story.

I would absolutely LOVE to photograph this dress a few more times before I decide whether it’s time for it to go. 🥹

DETAILS:
• $200 for the session + full digital gallery
• This dress must be worn for both session types
• Couple - your S/O must be willing to be styled to fit the overall vision as well
• This dress fits best for small-large
• No kiddos for these sessions
• Must be available within the next 2 weeks on a weekday evening at sunset time
• Must be comfortable with PDA + intimate/romantic posing
• Must be comfortable with images being shared online
• Must be comfortable giving me creative freedom to bring the vision to life
This is definitely not a traditional, posed studio session. I want storytelling, movement, closeness, emotion, and all the little details that make it feel like we stepped into another era. 🕯️📖

🤎 A gentle reminder to book your 2027 session!

I know 2027 probably feels way too early to be thinking about photos, but I’m only taking 15–20 sessions next year, so my availability will be very limited.

If you already know you’ll want a session, I recommend getting your date on the calendar early! A retainer is all it takes to reserve your spot. ✨

For 2027, I’ll be accepting:

🤎 Couples
🎓 Seniors

I’d absolutely love to photograph some familiar faces again, and I’m excited to meet some new ones, too. If you know you want a session next year, don’t wait until the calendar starts filling up!
