There’s something so special about the traditions we create for our families. 🤍

The little things we do year after year become the memories our children carry with them. The excitement of getting dressed for a special morning, sitting together eating a special Christmas treat with friends and making new friends, making a little Christmas craft, listening to a story, and watching their faces light up when it’s their turn to go up and talk to Santa.

That’s exactly why I love Breakfast with Santa.

Not just as an opportunity for a Santa photo, but as a morning for your family to slow down and truly enjoy the magic of the season together.

✨ Breakfast with Santa
🎅 A visit with Santa
🍩 Festive donuts
🎄 A special Christmas craft
📖 Storytime with Santa
📸 Beautiful, heartfelt portraits of your family

My hope is that when you look back at these photographs years from now, you won’t just remember what your children looked like but you’ll remember how that morning felt.

The excitement.
The laughter.
The way they ran to Santa or how their little hands nervously held to yours as they met Santa for the first time.
And the feeling of being together during such a beautiful season of family life.

Because those ordinary little moments of childhood are anything but ordinary. 🤍

Breakfast with Santa is coming to Columbus, GA this November, and I would love to make this a new family tradition for you.

There is something so special about watching your child become a big brother or sister.

They may not fully understand how much their world has changed yet, but you can see the joy on their face when they get to hold their new baby, in the curious glances they give, the gentle little touches, and the desire to be close.

These are the moments I want to preserve during a newborn session, not just how tiny your new baby was, but what your whole family looked and felt like as you became something new.

Because one day, you’ll look back at these photographs and remember when they were both this little. You’ll remember the beginning of their relationship, the way your older baby looked at your newest baby, and just how quickly this season passed.

As a Columbus, GA Newborn Photographer, these are the moments that make my heart so full. 🤍

One of the questions I hear most often is…

"What if my kids don't cooperate?"

The truth is…
I don't expect them to.

Children were never meant to stand perfectly still, smile on command, or look at the camera for an hour. They're meant to explore, giggle, cuddle close for a moment, and then run off to find the next adventure.

That's why my sessions are built around connection instead of perfection.

We'll play games.
We'll take breaks.
We'll follow your little one's lead when we need to.

Some of my favorite photographs happen in the in-between moments—the belly laughs after a tickle, little hands reaching for yours, or your child wrapping their arms around your neck because that's where they feel safest.

Years from now, those are the moments that will matter most.

You don't have to arrive with perfectly behaved children.

You simply have to come ready to love on them.
I'll take care of the rest.

I know so many expecting mothers hesitate to book maternity photos.

“I don’t quite feel like myself.”
“I’ll probably just wait until the baby is here.”

But years from now, I don’t believe you’ll look back and wish you had taken fewer photographs.

I think you’ll wish you had more.

More moments of your children seeing where their story began.

More reminders of the incredible strength it took to grow a life.

More photographs that say, “This was us before we met you.”

Pregnancy asks so much of a mother, and yet it often passes without anyone stopping to celebrate her.
Maternity portraits aren’t about having the perfect body or the perfect dress.

They’re about honoring the woman becoming a mother—or becoming one all over again.

Because this chapter deserves to be remembered just as much as the day your baby arrives. 🤍

Sometimes parents tell me they missed newborn photos and worry they've already missed their chance and I always tell them the same thing.

You haven't.

There are so many beautiful chapters during your baby's first year.

The curious expressions as they begin discovering the world.

The tiny rolls on their legs.
The way they sit so proudly on their own.
The gummy smiles that appear the moment they hear your voice.

These moments are just as worthy of remembering.

Your baby's first year passes in the blink of an eye, and every new milestone quietly replaces the last. Before you know it, the baby who needed to be held everywhere is running ahead of you.

Photographs give you the gift of holding onto each chapter just a little longer.

Because there is no "perfect" time to start preserving your family's story.

The best time is simply now. 🤍

There comes a day when those tiny curled toes stretch into little feet that run through the house.

The wispy newborn hair is replaced with messy bedhead before school.

Those fingers that once wrapped so tightly around yours become busy building towers, tying shoes, and reaching for independence.

When you're in the middle of the newborn days, it's easy to believe you'll remember every detail forever. But time has a quiet way of softening our memories. We remember the feeling, but the tiny details begin to fade.

That's why I always take time to photograph the little things—the delicate eyelashes, flaky fingers, tiny toes, sleepy stretches, and the way they fit perfectly in your hands.

Because one day, those photographs won't just remind you what your baby looked like.
They'll remind you exactly how it felt to hold them when they were this little.

Motherhood has taught me many things.

How to function on very little sleep.
How much love can fit inside one heart.
How strong we can be, even on the hardest days.
And how two things can be true at the same time.

You can be so excited to watch your baby grow while wishing time would slow down.
So proud of each new milestone while missing the stage you just left behind.

But perhaps the biggest lesson is just how quickly time moves.

One day you’re rocking a newborn in the middle of the night, wondering if you’ll ever sleep again. The next, they’re sitting up on their own, giggling at everything, and showing you more of the little person they’re becoming.

Every milestone is a reminder that our babies are growing exactly as they should but somehow it never makes it easier to watch time pass.

Maybe that’s why photographs mean so much.

They help us hold onto the moments our hearts aren’t quite ready to let go of. 🤍

When I was pregnant with my third little boy, I spent so much time wondering what he would look like.

Would he have his oldest brother’s smile? His middle brother’s eyes? Would he fit right in with the two little boys everyone constantly asked if they were twins?

Spoiler alert: he does.

Now people often tell me he’s the perfect mix of the other two or laugh that I somehow grew three little carbon copies.

But that’s one of my favorite things about pregnancy - the wondering.

The daydreaming. The imagining. The anticipation of meeting someone you’ve loved for months but have never seen.

There is something so beautiful about this chapter.
And it deserves to be remembered.

Apparently doing my hair for once called for a new introduction post, so hi 👋

I’m Carolina - a Columbus, GA family and newborn photographer, military spouse, and mama to THREE boys (yes…three 😅). They keep me on my toes, keep life loud, and are probably responsible for a least a few gray hairs already.

A few things about me:
• I will never turn down the chance to eat Italian food
• I’m learning how to play the piano
• I love running
• I enjoy learning about food, nutrition and trying new recipes that maybe my kids will love!
• I keep thinking about going back to school for nutrition…but also keep wondering if I’m “too old” (someone convince me otherwise)

Most days you can find me editing photos or working on some behind the scenes business item with my kids playing loudly nearby or probably at a park trying to get their energy out.

I’m so thankful you’re here and following along, whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just recently found my page. I truly love documenting motherhood and families in a way that feels genuine, heartfelt and full of life 🤍
