Apparently doing my hair for once called for a new introduction post, so hi 👋

I’m Carolina - a Columbus, GA family and newborn photographer, military spouse, and mama to THREE boys (yes…three 😅). They keep me on my toes, keep life loud, and are probably responsible for a least a few gray hairs already.

A few things about me:
• I will never turn down the chance to eat Italian food
• I’m learning how to play the piano
• I love running
• I enjoy learning about food, nutrition and trying new recipes that maybe my kids will love!
• I keep thinking about going back to school for nutrition…but also keep wondering if I’m “too old” (someone convince me otherwise)

Most days you can find me editing photos or working on some behind the scenes business item with my kids playing loudly nearby or probably at a park trying to get their energy out.

I’m so thankful you’re here and following along, whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just recently found my page. I truly love documenting motherhood and families in a way that feels genuine, heartfelt and full of life 🤍

Registration for Motherhood in Bloom closes soon, and I keep thinking about how special this morning is going to be. 🌸

This is more than portraits. It’s a chance to slow down and step away from the busyness of everyday life. To hold your little ones close in the gardens, to laugh together, to create something beautiful side by side, and to be fully present in the memories you’re making.

Newborn photos aren’t just a way to see what was…
they’re a way to return to it 🤍

To step back into those quiet, in-between moments—
the soft breaths, the tiny stretches, the way time seemed to slow down as you held them close.

Because the truth is, those early days can feel like a blur.

You’re learning, loving, adjusting… running on little sleep and soaking in so much all at once.

And while you’re living it,
you don’t always realize just how fleeting it is.

But these images—
they give it back to you.

Not just what it looked like,
but what it felt like.

There’s something so special about watching a mama walk into her maternity session already glowing…not because everything was “perfect” or “figured out” but because she finally got to let go.

No last-minute stress over outfits.
No worrying if hair and makeup will come together.
No carrying the mental load of all the little details.

When we think about what gets passed down in families, it’s rarely digital files.
It’s the tangible things.

The albums tucked onto bookshelves. The pages worn soft from years of turning. The photos that have been pointed at, laughed over, and held close.

Children interact with physical photos differently than screens. They sit next to a grandparent and flip through pages, pointing at themselves as babies. They ask questions. They hear stories.

That’s where connection happens.

A family photo album becomes part of your family’s story—it helps shape how your children see themselves and where they come from.

And here’s something that might surprise you: the person who will treasure that album the most someday is the child in it… all grown up.

They won’t care about the platform it was stored on or how many likes it got on social media.
They’ll care that it exists.

For me, the moment albums stopped feeling like an add-on and started feeling like the whole point… was when I imagined my own children holding them one day.

There are so many moments in your baby’s first year that quietly pass by… until one day you realize how much has changed 🤍

The way they used to curl perfectly into your chest.
The tiny fingers that are now reaching, grabbing, exploring.

The first smiles that turned into full belly laughs.

Milestone sessions are about holding onto those in-between moments, the ones that don’t always get celebrated like a birthday, but somehow mean just as much.
