A few years ago, if you told me I'd be boarding a plane and flying across the ocean to photograph a wedding, I probably wouldn't have believed you.

Getting to document love stories is already such an incredible privilege, but being trusted to travel thousands of miles to capture one is something I'll never take for granted. Every destination, every couple, and every story reminds me just how lucky I am to do what I love.

The passport stamps are fun, but it's the people that make it unforgettable. 🤍

One of my favorite things about wedding days is seeing every detail come together.

The florals, bridesmaid dresses, invitations, linens, and little touches throughout the day all tell the same story. When everything complements each other, the photos feel cohesive, timeless, and completely unique to the couple.

It's amazing how much thought goes into a wedding color palette, and it's always worth it when the vision comes to life.

People always ask what keeps me coming back to weddings.

The answer is simple: the love.

It's in the nervous excitement before the ceremony, the happy tears during the vows, the way your people show up for you, and the moments you don't even realize are happening until you see them captured later.

Every wedding is different, but the feeling is always the same. Being surrounded by so much love is something I'll never take for granted, and getting to document it is one of the greatest honors of my job.

3 Reasons Your Rehearsal Dinner Should Be Photographed:

1. Your closest people— in one room! Maybe for the first, or last time ever. Before the hustle and bustle of your wedding day, the night before feels like a deep breath of all of your community coming together for you both.

2. A pre-wedding moment for you and your fiance to have photos done. I *always* steal my couples for 10-15 minutes the night before so we can give their rehearsal dinner outfits a moment, sneak away for some quality time, & capture what it felt like the night before they wed.

Little Lauren would’ve never dreamt of this being what I do for a living, even though she knew she was trusting a sovereign God with her business. He is capable of immeasurably more!! (Ephesians 3:20)
