Finally sharing Maggie & Simon’s beautiful Savannah wedding 🤍

This day was extra special for me because Simon is my cousin, and having the honor of photographing his wedding was something I’ll always treasure. It was one of those incredibly hot Southern summer days — the kind where the air feels heavy and time slows down — yet everyone remained joyful, present, and full of celebration.

Savannah provided the most timeless, classic backdrop for such a meaningful day, and Maggie was absolutely stunning. Our families came in from everywhere, and Annie got to meet her namesake; I’m so grateful I got to witness and capture it all.

I have so many beautiful weddings from this past year to share with you — this is just the beginning ✨

Sometimes the most unexpected days turn out the most magical ✨ Alyssa and Brian’s wedding was filled with rain showers that weren’t even in the forecast, but not once did it dampen their joy. Their happiness was contagious, and when the sun peeked out for just five golden minutes, we created some of the dreamiest film portraits together. Forever so happy for these two!

I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple to kick off wedding season this past March.

Kirby and Richard’s wedding was the perfect start to my year — full of charm, Southern grace, and the kind of joy you can feel in every frame. I was completely obsessed with Kirby’s long-sleeved lace gown, the soft blue and white florals, and the timeless touches that made this day feel like a page from a storybook.

Everything about this day — from the blooming magnolia trees to their quiet moments under the oaks — was quintessentially Southern and deeply romantic. 💍✨

I would love to officially introduce our newest addition, Judith Anne Carriker “Annie”, our double rainbow baby 🌈

Born 11/1/24 at 6:29 am. Annie is named after my Grandma Judy, one the most important and godly women in my life.

After being on bed rest for a few weeks leading up to her delivery, I struggled with so much fear surrounding her birth. Even when Mitch and I walked into the delivery room and I saw the newborn bassinet, I felt certain we wouldn’t be bringing a baby home. But in the middle of all my doubts and worry, the Lord showered us with grace and mercy beyond anything I could have even asked for.

It has been a whirlwind these past 10 days, but I am slowly getting settled into this new routine….again 🤍

Before I put away my gear to head into maternity leave, I got to spend the afternoon with Julia and Jack in uptown for their engagement session! Julia looked like a vision in a dress straight out of a fairytale, bringing major Sound of Music vibes. 🎶 Can’t wait to capture more magic at their wedding next year!

Finished off my wedding season with Faith and Donald. I love when couples choose to do something unique at their wedding, and these two took Polaroids of each other and made the photos their cake toppers! Congrats to the happy couple 🤍
