Jessica Hunt picked up her first camera at 16 years old and has been creating fine art portraiture ever since. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in Photography from Columbia College in 2014 and started her business, Jessica Hunt Photography, in 2015, with just a dream and a used Canon camera. Today, Jessica serves a wide array of couples throughout the Southea

st and all over the world during one of the most significant experiences of their life: their wedding day. She is passionate about helping lovers connect on a deeper level with each other and creating imagery that highlights every couple and love story, no matter who or how they love. Jessica's work has been featured in well-known print and online publications including The Knot, Martha Stewart Weddings, Munaluchi Bride, and Southern Weddings — over 200 times in the past three years alone. She has also been named among The Knot's “Best of Weddings” for three consecutive years in a row, in 2017, 2018, and 2019.

My adoration for ❤️ Valentine’s Day ❤️ never ends, and this all-things-pink wedding day always comes to mind around this time of year.

Being a storyteller is always an honor, but even more so when someone trusts you with elements of their story that could never be yours to understand, only to empathize with. There is no higher honor for me than the chance to celebrate with, tell, and share the stories of the incredible souls we honor each February.

Last week, I had the opportunity to photograph the stunning installations and decor at the ’s 75th anniversary gala for the illustrious AND enjoy the incredible event with my lover after the photos were wrapped! 🤩

All in all, incredible Friday night surrounded by amazing vendor partners and a flawlessly renovated space for our city’s art. 🥳

Where you take your photos matters just as much as how you look in them.

The setting of your images tells your story and adds context to where you are in that moment, something no random beautiful field at golden hour ever could.

So when S & Z asked me to join them at their first home for their engagement photos, I leapt at the chance to document them in a space so FULL of their story. They frolicked in their front yard in the sun, spent some time together on the back porch, and shared a drink while playing their favorite records in their living room for their photos. And I don’t think I could love these photos any more than I already do!

Nothing shines like true love more than when it’s in a safe place, surrounded by comfort and elements that reflect just how genuine and strong that love is.

(Also, basically, this is just a post of me asking if you’d invite me over to your house 🤪)

And we’re baaaackkkk!!! After a wonderful week in Mexico full of rest and relaxation, we’re back in the office and ready to end the year with a BANG. 🥳🥳

And since I just hopped off a plane from the lovely , I had to post a few photos from the last time I stepped on those flawless beaches - B & W’s epic wedding weekend. A forever favorite wedding day, couple, and location!

It’s been a little while since we said ‘hello’ over here, so 🗣️ HI 🗣️ besties! It’s us!

I’m Jessica, the blue-haired leader of our team and heart behind this account. The incredible ladies joining me as your photography team are Mary Faith, Sadie, and Bonnie!

And let me tell you, we love people and all the little things that make you you. We love documenting your laughs and your smiles, and we’ll always hold space for you if you need to shed a tear or two, too.

We photograph your weddings, your families, your portraits, and your dreams. If you need photos, we’re your girlies, basically.

So in the spirit of thanks this week, thank you for trusting us to document all of the things you care most about. We love being in your lives, friends.

One of the best parts of your wedding is inviting everyone you love the most into a day you’ve curated every step of the way. You get the chance to create an experience for your guests, and S & M are a couple who flawlessly executed a day that was a true delight for their closest to enjoy.

From a beer b***o, late night hot dogs, a personalized seating chart, a band you could sing your heart out with all night… I could go on and on. Truly a stunning and DELIGHTFUL day.   Well done, you two. It was perfect, just like you!
