Hundreds gathered at Cooper’s Landing last weekend for the Do Hard Things 9.11 Mile Run or Ruck and 5k event and what a day it was.

A beautiful, meaningful, impactful event that challenges individuals to push past their perceived limitations and “Do Hard Things”, in honor of those who no longer can.

The quote stamped on the shirts and medals, “Let’s Roll”, was the final recorded statement of Todd Beamer, a heroic passenger on Flight 94, made before attempting to storm the cockpit and confront the hijackers on 9/11.

Grateful to help document the day and as always, tell the stories that deserve to be told. Here are some of my favorites 📸

So hard to believe that not so long ago I was changing her diapers… fast forward 20 years and now I have the honor of photographing her in this new and beautiful stage of life. My beautiful niece, Laci, ready to welcome Baby Ailani to the world!

Day 5 of the Strength + Stability Retreat in Argyll, Scotland was a slower-paced, relaxing day to remember. A perfect way to end an incredible saga!
•Spent all morning at a luxurious spa right on the ocean •Started with yoga overlooking the harbor, then enjoyed the amenities, massages, and ultimate relaxation
•Stopped in at the local coffee/sandwich shop that’s run by our lovely team of chefs that we had for the week… Fresh soup and baguette sandwiches for lunch
•Later enjoyed a walk to dinner, making friends along the way (a common occurrence in Scotland ❤️)
•Dined at one of the best takeaway bistros in Scotland, Tide & Thyme (which is BYOB, incredibly enough!)
•Toasted champagne, told stories, laughed plenty
•Closed the evening with a cozy fire in the side yard of our home

Day 4 of the Strength + Stability Yoga Retreat was filled with history, nature, and wholesome meals shared with friends that felt like family! Here’s a look into Day 4:
•When Scotland gives you a morning downpour, you pivot and do yoga in the dining room
•Explored the majestic Inverary Castle and castle grounds
•Enjoyed a pub meal in the town of Inverary
•Hiked around 160-year-old redwood trees in Benmore Botanic Gardens
•Ended our evening with a delicious meal prepared by our chefs, paired with lots of stories and laughs

What a beautiful day full of Scottish history and beauty!

Reflecting on Day 3 of the Strength + Stability Yoga Retreat… a day that won’t soon be forgotten. A day for the peaceful countryside and crashing ocean waves. Come along on the recap of this unforgettable day:
•Challenging, tranquil yoga class in a picturesque dome on a vast Scottish farm
•Crossed flower fields on foot that led to a large rustic sauna overlooking the sea
•Cold-plunged in the ocean, dipped in a freshwater transition pool, then sat in the sauna…on repeat
•Ventured back to the farm to be greeted by a beautifully plated farm-to-table dinner and dessert set up in an old barn
•Stumbled upon the local coffee bean roaster where we bought fresh coffee and watched them grind our beans to take home (sadly not pictured - but very much enjoyed!)

Quite literally the perfect day. Cally outdid herself with this one. Happy to be a part of capturing these amazing moments!

A glimpse into Day 2 of the Strength + Stability Yoga Retreat in Argyll, Scotland. Another day filled with everything from tranquility to thrilling adventure. Here’s what we got into on Day 2:

•Yoga on the sprawling front lawn of our Victorian home (not pictured)
•Boarded a boat, Captained by the kindest Scotsman named Al, and took in the Isle of Bute views by water
•Docked and explored the quaint fishing village of Tarbert by foot
•Sailed to one of the highest rated restaurants in Scotland, The Oystercatcher

What more could you ask for?

Day 1 of the Strength + Stability Yoga Retreat in Argyll, Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 WOW, what a time… Owner, Cally, has meticulously curated the most epic adventure. It’s been an honor capturing these moments!
•Hiking in the Scottish Highlands
•Yoga on the front lawn of the luxurious Victorian villa
•Private chef-prepared meals
•Walking the ocean shoreline, steps from the front door
