Throwback to a shoot I did last year. The weather was nice that day. I love nice days during the winter.

I woke up today, surprised that the ground had a little covering of snow. Well, I guess I'm going to put on my warm socks, drink my coffee ☕️, wrap up in my nice cozy blanket and edit some baby photos!

Sometimes we can have bad days or a bad season. Life at times can seem unclear. I like to step away from a bad situation to try to change my focus and get a new perspective. Sitting down with a fresh cup of coffee, going on a walk, or just singing and dancing along to songs in my kitchen, are a few things I do to help reset my mood. It's a little cheesy to say "when life gets blurry, adjust your focus" because I'm a photographer, but it's true!

Throwback to my McDonough Maternity session in January 2020. This was around this time of the year in 2020. Wow, 2 years already!

I have always thought maternity photos in the snow was beautiful, so I was excited when they asked for this to happen. It was cold, but look at this wonderful couple getting ready to enjoy the wonders of parenthood.
