Happy 10th birthday to Bleu 32 Vintage Marketplace! I’ve enjoyed being a part of the Blew Crew family for at least 9 of those years and it just keeps getting better! Here’s to many more years of being a centerpiece of downtown Columbia! 🩵🎉🩵🎉🩵🎉🩵

This is a little digital collage/painting that I did while “watching “ a movie last night. The backgrounds and the vase were “cut” from some design patterns I made for cutting up for art journaling and the painting was done using my Apple Pencil all in my Procreate app.

It was great to get together with friends for a little painting and chatting this afternoon at Hanks Coffee Station

I just finished painting this “pleather” jacket. It once belonged to one of my aunts and is very special to me. I wore it as it was for several years and then I tried to gently wash it and some of the finish started peeling off of sections. At first, I was just going to give it away, but I thought what a perfect opportunity to transform it into something that reflected my style. The image on it is inspired by a painting. I did many years ago and have always liked. I had ChatGPT put it on a mature model to go with my current age, although my gray is still camouflage in my blonde.😂🩵

A surprise guest shows up just in time for the first course of this cozy, a festive forest meal. All are welcome here. From my forest to you. Including a clip of my forest friend Roxy.

Lots of yummy textures on this one…mostly painted with a palette knife. Acrylics on canvas floral.

UPDATE!

Well… y’all REALLY liked the art. ❤️

We had such an incredible response that we’ve decided to make it a regular thing at the Kissing House!

We’ll be rotating art for sale every month, so the walls will always have something new to discover. Some pieces will be local, some vintage, some a little unexpected—but all of it will be chosen because it feels like it belongs here.

See something you love? Buy it right off the wall. Then come back next month and see what’s new.

Good food, good times, old walls and really cool art.

Just one more reason to keep coming back to the Kissing House. 🖤

🎨 CALLING LOCAL ARTISTS!

We want to fill the historic Kissing House with work created by artists from our own community — and we’re offering the space completely free.

No display fee. No commission. No percentage of your sales.

If your artwork sells, the money is yours. ❤️

We’re inviting artists from Spring Hill and the surrounding area to display their work inside the Kissing House. Paintings, photography, prints, drawings, mixed media, local-history pieces and more are welcome.

You’re welcome to simply display your work, or you can make it available for purchase. We just want to give talented local artists another place to be seen while bringing more art, personality and community into this beautiful 1878 house.

If you’re interested, send us a message with a few photos of your work and a little bit about yourself.

And please tag an artist you think should be hanging on the walls of the Kissing House!

I’ve working on some of these little canvas, over the shoulder bags. Perfect for carrying your phone and a couple of essentials when you don’t want to carry a big bag. Each piece is lovingly created using the cyanotype process, a photographic printing technique invented in the 1800s. Real pressed flowers and plants from my garden are arranged by hand and transformed by sunlight into beautiful blue botanical impressions. Each piece is unique, capturing a little piece of nature in time. More options to come.
