Our hearts are full of gratitude, love and awe as we see our prayers answered in the baby girl that is coming to us in October! 🩷
We could never thank everyone enough for supporting us and praying for us and this sweet baby! God is so good and we feel so blessed by his plan for us.
If these announcement posts come with lots of heavy emotions, I want you to know that this post, and these words are for you too.
I’ve gone back and forth with how to handle this post because I remember what being on the receiving end of these feels like. Quiet grief and heartache is exhausting and painful. But I hope in these words, you find hope to hang onto.
Our journey to this baby and this announcement was mostly quiet. The last five years, behind the scenes of the lives people have seen us living, we have been treated by 4 different specialists, attended countless appointments across the state, grueling medications and had conversations and results that left us emotionally drained. We endured losses, deep heartache and the lowest lows, the kind that fundamentally change you. There were stretches of time where we felt completely hopeless and broken, times when we were begging on our knees in prayer. Prayers begging for answers and direction, rather than the miracle we had started to lose hope on.
But through it all, God has always been faithful in his plan for our family and working in all things that have occurred. We could see his faithfulness between the heartache we were enduring, and that is what kept us hopeful for the moments we are celebrating and in living now.
We don’t share this story and news lightly - we carry every part of what lead us here with us each day and into parenthood.
If you’re still in the middle of yours, still waiting, still grieving, still hoping, I want you to know that God has you in his arms and his plan is in the works for you - and it is going to be marvelous.
Please let our story give you hope and reassurance that the gratitude and joy you will feel when your baby is on the way is immeasurable. 🤍
