When my parents (from Missouri) visited us a couple weeks ago we went hiking at Quarry Park and stopped at The Grand Depot on the way back. Whitney found these cool vintage lights that were almost touching my head.

🖼 How to frame a perfect shot? Use the "rule of thirds".
Imagine lines like this slicing your image into thirds. Cameras 📷 (including phones) can display these for you.
Depending on how close you are align everyone's eyes 👀 (closeup) or face 👦👩 (further) near the intersection of the lines or centered in the box.
In the example below the girl's faces are centered in a box and mom and dad's faces are not perfectly centered on the intersection, but they are on the vertical lines. This draws your eyes in towards their super smiles and then you look at mom and dad.

What do you do with all your pictures? Where do you put them? What do you take pictures of? Let me help you with that! You should always backup your pictures so you don't loose your memories.

Cloud backup is the easiest:
#1 Google Photos: Great search and timeline features photos.google.com
#2 Amazon Photo: Free unlimited storage www.amazon.com/photos
#3 iCloud: Great integration if you have iPhone and Mac. www.icloud.com

No matter where you put them take a few minutes to organize them. Take a look at my screenshot. All pictures of Whitney automatically are identified and go into their own album. Albums for holidays and your favorites help you find older pictures for quick reference.

My best tip is to take a picture of the expensive items in your home and put them in an album together. For things like cars take a picture of the whole car, license, and VIN. Other things like instruments, appliances, etc picture the whole item and model number. This makes insurance claims easy, and saving them in the cloud makes for easily access in case of the worst.
