When Kayla and I were chatting about vibe/location for their engagement session she told me she wanted a field with mountains. We chose Belton Stage Park because it seemed to hit all the boxes. I LOVE Belton Stage Park for the mountains, the tall grass, the evergreens, and how quiet it is. We had so much space to work with and it’s officially my favorite “non Glacier” location 🫢.

Alex and I are excited for Kayla and Ethan’s wedding next year for SO many reasons but the first thing that drew us to them is that their wedding is at the same venue we got married at almost five years ago 🥹. Then when I had the honor of meeting them and documenting this fun stage of life for them, I got even more excited. They have something so special and it showed up in every photo 🤭🥹❤️

What a day.

What a couple.

What a beautiful group of people.

Truly we were so honored to be a part of their day, documenting it for generations to come. My heart is full and I CANNOT wait to share more.

I’ve recently fallen back in love with beach shoots. I love that the colors are ALWAYS different. I’ve had pale beach shoots, startling colored sunsets, golden sunrises, even beautiful direct sunlight colors that are vibrant. I have taken beach pictures in almost every season and it has not disappointed.

Are you building in enough time for your bridal portraits? 📸💍👰🏽‍♀️

I cannot recommend talking to your photographer about this enough! It’s a once in a lifetime moment, you’ve poured money into a flawless look, you DESERVE to have it thoroughly documented. Sometimes the wedding day can go by so quickly that you only get a few pictures of just you in your wedding attire.

I love to give my brides two options for their portraits:

1) Build in at least 30 minutes of uninterrupted time during your get ready pictures to have just your portrait taken. I’ll scout out the perfect location at your venue and we’ll get a little creative with your portraits! (We love a good editorial approach to these photos!!)

2) We schedule another time slot (before or after your wedding day) for a full session of just you in your dress! This is SO FUN to do because the creative options are endless! We can do it at your venue or another location (studio maybe??) and it takes all the rush and stress out of the equation!! Plus, who doesn’t love the opportunity to wear their wedding dress again?

Hello hello, my friends :)

Just popping on to say hello 👋🏼 and to give you a little update on our lives 🚐

For those of you who don’t know, Alex and I are currently living on the road until August (when we’ll settle down in Montana 🤗). We’re currently enjoying our time in Colorado! This is our second time spending some time in these Rockies and to say that we’re obsessed is an understatement. I don’t care where the mountains are…I love them.

We’ve also been busy working on all background things for our business (pretty sure every photographer and videographer uses off-season to do this lol) and it always makes me super extra thankful for all of our past clients and excited for our new clients! 🥹🥹

We also have some crazy exciting shoots coming up as we ease into wedding season and I’m SO FLIPPIN EXCITED. Can’t wait to share all BTS and sneaks and albums.

As always, thanks for being here. For trusting us with your memories. For being the best clients and friends we could’ve ever asked for 🫶🏼
