My heart holds this session very closely, and what an honor it is to be a part of this chapter. ❤

It is an honor to capture all milestones in the lives of my clients. Whether it is a graduation, a new job, a pet, a new house, an engagement, an anniversary, a birthday, a new baby, or a wedding, they're all special in their own way and deserve documenting. It is a privilege I hold close to my heart to be trusted to capture. But some sessions will stay with me a little extra, and this is one of those sessions.

Senior portrait sessions will always be a favorite of mine because that's where this photography adventure all started. It was a colorful, cold fall day spent photographing this senior! The most important aspect during a session to me is including anything important to you. Whether it's a graduation cap, a photo, or having the session at a specific location, your session is meant to be a reflection of your life. So let's document and include anything special to you, and YES, that includes bringing your people along with you to be a part of it as well.

These colors are only a few weeks away! Until then, let me share some photos from a graduation session I did Fall 2024. Fall foliage makes one of the prettiest backdrops and will always be a favorite of mine. 🍁🍂

Maternity sessions will always be a favorite of mine. But this one.... this one is a little extra special and I'll tell you why. This family has been in front of my camera since before Mom + Dad were even engaged. They've dealt with crazy hot and humid sessions in the middle of summer, sessions where the bugs are so bad they had to be edited out (along with the bites), to me telling them to get in the river for some photos. So when I suggested a parking lot for a location for this special session, they put their full trust in me once again.

When Emily was pregnant with their oldest, I was honored with the privilege of knowing her name before it was public knowledge. Her maternity session was in the heat of August, and the purple clover was abundant, which I just had to include in that session. When photos were done and delivered, I scheduled a post with the images to post September 29th, and that was that....or so I thought. Mid-afternoon on September 29th, Emily sent me a message to inform me that Sadie was born. The same day that I had scheduled photos from the maternity session to post weeks prior. Let me just note that she wasn't due until the end of October.

Fast forward 4 years Emily messaged me asking if I had any availibity since the due date was quickly approaching and with her history of being early, she wanted to get it done sooner. I had the privilege of once again capturing a growing family on a much cooler early June day. This session was so good. I was obsessed with the images straight from my camera screen. A few weeks later, I see Emily's name pop up on my phone with an image. Once again mid afternoon. I open it to see Emily telling me that although I hadn't yet scheduled a post sharing photos, I was still going to have a connection to her second daughter because we got to share a birthday!

Being a photographer is so special and the greatest honor. To the Baker family, thank you for always trusting my (at times crazy) vision to create photos of your family to be adored for years to come. ❤

As we enter August, I find myself reflecting on a beautiful celebration of love that I was privileged to capture in August of 2024.

What an unforgettable late August evening spent capturing love and those celebrating this beautiful couple. I captured easily some of my all-time favorite photos during this one evening; it was truly the most beautiful celebration in all aspects. It couldn't have been a more perfect day. Black and white will always be a favorite part of the editing process for me, as it lets you focus on the emotion of the image and truly feel it. I especially feel it really emphasizes and captures the love of this day.

This winter I photographed a very unique listing for Kaitlyn Giard , Realtor with Cohn & Company in South Deerfield. Real Estate photography has been my niche for the last few years. I love seeing the character of each home I photograph. I especially adored the charm of the kitchen in this listing. She reached out a few weeks later saying someone from MassLive wanted to do an article about it and she asked if it was okay. I of course said yes! You can see some of my photos and read the article below.

There's just something about black and white on a photo. The emotion it can bring front and center is incredible and often times I end up liking the black-and-white version of portraits more than the color. This family of 3 were rockstars during their fall mini-session. We may even have a future photographer in the works, she was very interested in my camera, so much so that she got the opportunity to take a few photos of her parents during their session! Make it a priority in 2024 to get photos taken, you'll be so happy when you look back on them and are flooded with memories of that day and chapter in life. ❤

Goodbye 2023, hello 2024!

Feeling grateful for all of the families that stood in front of my camera in 2023 and for all of the opportunities that opened up. Thank you for letting me capture your special announcements like a new family member joining in this new year. This session in particular holds a very special place in my heart. It is the biggest honor to be a part of capturing your stories.

From my heart to yours, wishing you a wonderful new year! I hope 2024 is full of abundance, joy, and love for you all! ❤

Low quality photo for high quality excitement! Did you catch one of my photos in the newspaper in September? I didn’t even know a photo of mine got printed in the paper until about two weeks ago. 🤣 This makes the second time I’ve had a photo of mine printed in a local paper. Always exciting to get a feature no matter how many times!

Alexa, play stick season by Noah Kahan 🍁 Something about late fall color, it always seems so vibrant. I love searching for hidden color or details I overlooked during peak leaf peeper time. I always find something new and beautiful. Maybe it’s because everything else is brown and dull that surround these little pieces of color. Or maybe it’s because there’s beauty to be found in the yearly reminder of the magic of leaving your former shell so that you can grow into an even better self next season.
