A little before and after 💛

A lot of editing these days feels very "trendy"— desaturated tones, very muted blues and greens, and brown overtones.

There's nothing wrong with that, but I personally love emphasizing the richness of color in my photos. Especially in the summertime when Colorado has some greens to show off!

I absolutely loved getting to meet the Bristow family yesterday! We were worried for a bit we might get rained out... but in classic Colorado fashion it only drizzled for a minute and then the sun came out in full force, making everything look especially magical 🙌

So fun to capture this sweet family's reunion— we had some locals, some from Texas and some all the way from Alaska!

Interrupting your regularly scheduled programing to wish my amazing husband a HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY!!!!

This man. He's been my best friend for SIXTEEN YEARS (that doesn't even feel real 😍), my adventure buddy, the father of my children, my strong shoulder to cry on, the man I laugh with until we both cry. He is full of strength, gentleness, kindness, compassion, and courage, always seeking to see the best in everyone around him and call them higher.

He's the one who bought me my camera as a birthday gift four years ago, after hearing me dream about getting back into photography after being out of it for so many years. Jasmine Morse Photography wouldn't exist without his encouragement, love, and faithful support.

It's May, and you know what that means.... it's time to celebrate SENIORS!!

Evan and his family reached out to me celebrate his upcoming graduation (two weeks away!) by getting some senior photos in Old Colorado City. I've gotten to photograph many seniors the past couple of weeks, and it's such a joy to hear of their hopes and plans as they get ready to launch into the world 👏

There was just one thing that kept running through my head during Kierra's senior session...

She was a natural in front of the camera, and so much fun to work with. She graduates in less than two weeks and wants to become an aircraft mechanic. Kierra is a beauty inside and out, and it was a joy to meet her and get to celebrate this special season of her life.
