Happy Birthday, Colorado!
An angle that not many see of the Maroon Bells during an incredible sunset this summer. After a long hike, I was greeted by this amazing view as several small patches of Columbine created the perfect foreground.

Sunrise Hike
Spent the last two days in Summit County, Colorado, and was fortunate to capture a stunning sunrise in the mountains. This was taken while hiking back from another section of the trail.

Happy 4th of July and 250 years of independence!
Since this year's fire danger is extreme in Colorado and the surrounding states, most fireworks shows are canceled here, and I will not be capturing photos tonight. But, to still celebrate, here are a few photos from previous years from around Colorado. I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th!

Colorado Mountain Sunrise
What a beautiful sunrise to witness in the mountains of Colorado. I was lucky enough to capture this photo before the wildfire smoke moved over the mountains. And the asters provided an amazing foreground that complemented the landscape after the early-morning hike to this spot.

Morning light in the Colorado Mountains
Such an incredible thing to behold while standing on top of a mountain ridge during sunrise with no one else around. Although losing the trail twice while hiking at 4 AM in the dark could have been better 😂
