Congratulations to Joel and Abby on their marriage! These two are so sweet together and wonderful to work with. Photoshoots where the couple is onboard with whatever idea I throw at them are so fun. This session challenged me as a photographer with some tricky lighting and indoor locations, but I'm thrilled with the results!

A little break from wild horses for this handsome guy. I was hiking through Bighorn Canyon when the sound of rocks tumbling broke the perfect silence. I turned around to see a little herd of bighorn sheep sliding down a hill towards me! I couldn't have asked for a better photo opportunity.

Hello everyone! We have returned home from our summer adventures. Unfortunately, just before leaving Wyoming I broke my right wrist. I will be out of commission for sessions for a few months, but I'll continue posting photos from the summer. I hope to be back at it again soon!

I've always had a soft spot for black horses. This stallion had a particular rugged beauty with his many scars from fights with other studs.

A sweet moment!

The way the horses kept in distinct smaller bands within the larger herd was really fascinating. Three or four horses would stick closely together as they grazed and shifted through the group, never losing each other.

While in Cody, Wyoming I had a fantastic opportunity to photograph the McCullough Peaks wild horses. Watching the dynamics within the herd was absolutely fascinating and gave me the chance to capture some really beautiful moments. Many more mustang photos to come!

July was a great time to visit the park- we saw so many buffalo calves!
