My wife and I made a last minute decision to take a trip down to Westcliffe, CO and see for ourselves if you can truly achieve near zero light pollution in a town. I can say with 100% certainty that, yes you can. Seeing the Milky Way with your naked eye was absolutely incredible!
We showed up around 4 PM so we could explore the main street of Westcliffe and see what the small town had to offer. It was a great time, the town was very welcoming, and they were all very excited about their title of Colorado's First International Dark Sky Community. Also, I'd like to thank the Smokey Jack Observatory (https://www.darkskiescolorado.org/smokey-jack-observatory) for allowing my wife and I to jump in on their viewing last night. They were super knowledgeable about the stars and astronomical objects. If you ever have the chance I highly encourage you to visit Westcliffe, Colorado

We took a short trip down to Ute Valley during golden hour to get some pretty amazing photos! Once the sun went down we decided on making some more artistic and dramatic pictures. Really happy with all of these.

For this shoot I had a vision to use a small amount of light to create a more dramatic effect. I really like how these turned out! I was able to give them more of an old Victorian feel which i was very happy with.

Went out a little while back and did a fun shoot with Aaliyah and David. We all took turns taking photos and had a fun time. David took the photo of myself.

My family wanted some portraits of all of us together, and what better place to do it then Palmer Park? I took a few artistic liberties on some of the photos, one of which was intentionally cheesy for that perfect Charlies Angels look. I had a great time taking these and I'm super thankful for my family.

A few photos from my wife and I's trip to Maroon Bells in Aspen, Colorado. I have been a lot of places in my life, including a lot of Europe, and I have to say that this location was the most beautiful place I've ever visited.

It's not very often I take a portrait and can't pick between shots that I like the most. I truly love all three of these equally. Alicia Fethke did an amazing job with her posture and facial expressions here. I also included a landscape style portrait shot with the sunset over the mountains. Which one is your favorite?

My photo shoot with the amazingly talented and beautiful Alicia Fethke at the Garden of the Gods Park. Had an incredible time improvising shooting locations since our original plan got ruined. Who would have guessed the Garden of the Gods on a Friday night during tourist season would be so packed? 😜 Stay tuned for some more photos. I can't wait to share!

Price update post:

Good afternoon everyone! I wanted to let everyone know that I have reconsidered my current prices and have updated them on my website. I came to the realization that my prices were too high for a starting photographer and I need to lower them until I have a proficient portfolio. My price has gone down from $200 for a half hour session to $100 and yes, my current promotion of 50% still stands. So if you want some professional photos taken, for the rest of the month it will be $50 so long as you share my promotion. 😁 If you have any questions or comments on this recent change feel free to send me a message or comment below! I'm eager to hear from everyone and have the opportunity to take your photos. 📸 I hope everyone is having a great summer!

Wanted to test out the new external flash so I headed out into the city at night to get comfortable in less than ideal conditions. I have to say these photos are some of my favorites to date!
