Jennifer Blazis Photography Booking is closed in 2025 as I move away from the photography industry and into nonprofit work. I'm drawn to families, to candid moments between people.

Bookings will be available for friends, family, and longtime clients for families and senior photogrpahy starting in July 2026. I'm a homegrown Colorado Springs portrait photographer.

My passion for photography began when I got hold of a film camera with interchangeable lenses in high school. I studied fine art and journalism in college, and spent lots of hours in a darkroom, since digital was

just barely becoming the thing (we won't mention what year that was).

I've been photographing families, couples, and seniors for over 10 years, and have 5 years of experience photographing dancers. To making portrait sessions a memory worth capturing. November sunset hike at Palmer Park. We have had the most gorgeous slow and warm fall, and I’m loving it. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen prairie asters still blooming in November.

These two cuties are getting married in June! I realized I hadn’t posted their official engagement pics last spring after I took these photos while visiting for Tirzah’s college graduation. We took advantage of the retro library at Western Carolina University for these fun pics that are so perfectly Tirzah and Ethan.

Congrats to these cool book worms, and can’t wait to add Ethan to our family!

My Story

I'm a homegrown Colorado Springs portrait photographer. ​ My passion for photography began when I got hold of a film camera with interchangeable lenses in high school. I studied fine art and journalism in college, and spent lots of hours both behind a canvas and in a darkroom- digital was just barely becoming the thing (we won't mention what year that was). Since then, I’ve had four children and many adventures, and have had my camera glued to my face along the way!

I’ve grown to love creating CUSTOM sessions that speak to my clients. I find locations and discuss wardrobes that will display beautifully in your home. We’ll talk about your interests, style, colors you like, and the things you and your family enjoy doing.
